Imploding Tigers Lose Yet Again

Vernon Wells' two-out, two-run double tonight has capped a
four-run seventh inning lifting the Toronto Blue Jays to a 6-4
come-from-behind win.
Adam Lind had a home run among his three hits and drove in two
runs for Toronto. The Blue Jays have won two straight over Detroit.
Gary Sheffield has hit two home runs and Magglio Ordonez
one for the Tigers who have lost nine of their last 12 games.
Detroit had a 4-1 lead in the sixth, but Toronto punished
relievers Bobby Seay and Joel Zumaya (zoo-MY'-uh) in the seventh.
Zumaya (0-2) has taken the loss. He faced five batters, and gave
up two hits and three walks. Zumaya was charged with two runs.
